BACKGROUND

SHERATON PENTAGON HOTEL

This Hotel has been anointed and chosen to serve the purpose of hosting the Saints that are commissioned to gather here and pray from this High Place, in this Hotel, over the District of Columbia and the surrounding area, Virginia and Maryland, which can be seen from the Glaxay Room, too.

THE PRAYER GATHERING

These gatherings started back in 2020. The month before the world shut down from the corona virus. Ahavat YESHUA Messianic Congregation in Washington, DC was commissioned to come to this high place and do warfare prayers for the Region.

Little did I know that I would be continuing to gather with others in this Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel.

This year, 2022, in February, I was called to pray for Washington, DC, again at the Sheriton Pentagon City Hotel. The first call was February 22, 2020 a month before the world shut down from Corona Virus.

I was given specific instructions. It started in 2021. For the Festival of the Trumpets, I YAH sent me to the Roseland Community in Chicago to do outreach because an Apostle by the name of Bishop Smith was commissioned by the FATHER to put up a “Tent of Meeting”. I was told by YAH to go. This “Tent of Meeting” was put up on the most violent corner in this community. My position was to spend the night in the “Tent of Meeting” I spent two nights sleeping in the “Tent of Meeting” with no sides on that corner. Why because the “Tent of Meeting was to be open 24 hours.

I came back home and began to plan for Sukkoth 2021. YAH opened the door for us to do Sukkoth, again at David’s Tent, which is a tent that is open 24/7, with praise and worship played, yes, night and day. Shortly after the Sukkoth celebration, I was given the word Sackcloth and Ashes. I thought ABBA was kidding. Not long after that HE gave me the month May 2023.

Little did I know that I would be planning a gathering in February 2022 for one day. In late December 2021, it was laid on my heart heavily to go back to the Sheraton Hotel to pray. In 2020, YAH sent Ahavat YESHUA Messianic Congregation there to pray over the Washington Metropolitan Area and the next month the whole world shut down from Covid. I begin to plan and YAH gave me the date, February 19, 2021, which was available.

Before the end of the gathering in February, YAH begin to speak to my heart about prayer gatherings every three months and the third week in the month and Sackcloth and Ashes Day was one of those weekends. The word that was given to me was “Washington, DC needed Prayer This Year, Not Next Year”. I met people that felt that same way.

Sackcloth and Ashes Day (we had on sackcloth and ashes – a Day of Repenting) was held in a park just west of the US Capitol and South of the American Indian Museum. The third Gathering was also held at that park. Praying for Washington, DC, Jerusalem and the World. The atmosphere was filled with the Presence of YAH. Prayer, Dancing, Singing, Proclaiming the Good News and more was done. Many children were there participating.

Hebrews 5:7 “In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.”

Each one of these times of Prayer were held at time that a life changin, significant event was occurring in the world for example the deliberation of the Superior Courts decision on Roe vs. Wade, May 2022.

We are finishing out this year in November 2022 at the Sheraton, the hotel chosen by YAH and will go back in the hotel for another one in February 2023. I would have completed a full cycle of Prayer.

WE ARE CALLED TO PRAY.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 – I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—  for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
